Google adsense is the best and most secure way to make money online. It is completely managed directly by Google. Before you apply for Google Adsense (at www.google.com/adsense) to get verified and take the advantage of online income, just read below mentioned few tips get accepted for your blog or website at first.
Original Content
Content is the key element of any website. If your website has quality original content then it makes your website a quality website. Whether its text, image or video; always use original content. If necessary to use other’s content, give a link back to the website in source so that google do not consider it as a pirated or duplicate content. But make sure you do not do this in your every web page. Below are few content related tips –
- Use alt tag to define images.
- Use more text in posts.
- Have minimum 40 pages on your website with genuine content.
Google Analytics and Webmaster Tool
Created a google account and set up analytics and webmaster tool from the same account with which you are going to apply for Google Adsense. To track traffic on your website and their source, status, monitoring you need to create analytic and webmaster account.
Correct Website Navigation
You need to create proper flow into website. Website should run properly with correct navigation flow, so make your website easy to navigate with right use of categories, sub categories, internal links and menus etc.
Old Domain
Make sure your website domain is at least 6 months year old. Generally, google do not consider new domains as secure websites. It is more important if you live in India, China, Pakistan or Middle East.
About Us, Contact Us and Privacy Policy Pages
Website must have about us and privacy policy page defining the terms and conditions of your portal along with website introduction and goals. Write at least 300 words to explain your business goals and motto of the website. Also, have a contact us page so that users can contact you for any specific reason.
Decent Traffic
Although if website adhere to all the guidelines of Google Adsense, you won’t face any issue. Still, if your website have decent amount of traffic then it is a plus point.
What if website not approved?
If your website is not approved for Google Adsense you need to read the reasons for disapproval sent in mail by Google team. Read the guidelines and analyze your website to improve it and to fulfill all guidelines. Once you are sure that your website is ready to get verified, go to your adsense account and reapply.
